ETERNAL EMBRACE
Granite, 6 ft tall, commissioned by my old friend Dick Fallis as a memorial to his wonderful wife Bernice, placed in the Healing Garden outside the new Cancer Care Facility at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA, to honor the tender care she received from the staff here until her death in 2005. As the plaque states,
"Though cancer may seem to rob us of our loved one, The Embrace, remembered, allows us to hold that loved one in our heart, forever."
