LADY WITH BOWL
This piece is quite small, and quiet. It is of limestone, about 12" high, and in her bowl are a few flowers, whose name I have forgotten. She is not saying much, but offering us these lovely blossoms to ponder. As the flowers bloom and fade each year, they are constantly renewed, filling our lives with fresh joy whenever we encounter them. Love is like that, it feeds our souls and renews our spirit, and gives us the energy to go on. Love is the relentless life force, preserved and transmitted by the humblest of flowers, and people.
